Our natural environment is finite – There is a limited quantity. We can never make more, no matter how ingenious the human species may become.

We are consuming remaining green spaces with little forethought to the long-term consequences to wildlife or, indeed, to our own quality of life.

Innisfree Shield directs significant resources towards protecting and preserving wildlife habitats and natural spaces. ISC is committed to acquiring a thousand acres of contiguous or near-contiguous forests and fields in central Southern Ontario, an area particularly under pressure from intense population growth and unchecked urban sprawl which is devouring 300 acres every day.

ISC is building a sufficiently large block of land to provide meaningful and viable habitat for wildlife with the aim of protecting it from development in perpetuity.
